Ram is right, you only need a small charger for a small battery, but keep an eye on the water level in the cells--don't let the level drop below the plates. I collect condensate water from my central A/C unit during the summer and filter it thru a paper towel into a clean plastic bottle . . . free battery water. ...Krug
